Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICA Functional Consultant with 8–10 years of overall SAP experience, including a minimum of 6 years specifically in SAP Financial Contract Accounting (FICA). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing FICA solutions, with strong knowledge of integration with FI, SD, and CRM modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications related to SAP FICA processes.
• Configure and customize SAP FICA components such as contract accounts, dunning, payment processing, interest calculation, collections, and disconnection/reconnection.
• Design and implement solutions for business processes such as invoicing, payments, settlements, and financial postings.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, CRM, IS-U, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
• Handle change requests, enhancements, and support issues in the SAP FICA module.
• Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare detailed documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts.
• Train key users and provide go-live and post-go-live support.
• Participate in SAP upgrades and migration projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8 to 10 years of SAP experience with minimum 6 years in SAP FICA.
• Strong knowledge of FICA master data, open item management, payment processing, dunning, and interest calculation.

Experience with FICA sub-modules like:

• Business Partner and Contract Account Management
• Payment Lots and Clearing Control
• Write-offs, Refunds, Installment Plans
• Dunning and Collections Management
• Familiarity with FICA integration with SAP FI, SD, CRM, and IS-U modules.
• Good understanding of business processes in utilities, telecom, or public sector industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP certification in FICA or Financials is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in S/4HANA is a strong plus.
• Exposure to BRF+, FSCM, or Convergent Charging/Billing.
• Prior experience in end-to-end SAP implementations and support engagements.
