“I just wanted to share that I have received an offer from a company that you applied for me. I have another offer potentially coming after the holidays but I'm planning to sign with *** just to guarantee it. It's a good offer and I'm happy with it!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Job Standards Calculator?

It's a free tool that estimates how common your preferred job search criteria are across ApplyAll's live job database. Set a title, location, workplace mode, skills, salary, experience, and sponsorship preference to see what share of title-matched roles meet your standards.

Is the Job Standards Calculator accurate?

It gives a directional read based on currently active listings ApplyAll tracks, not a perfect census of every job on the internet. Coverage varies by field—salary, experience, sponsorship, workplace mode, and skills data are incomplete for some employers—so treat the percentage as an honest market check, not a guarantee.

Where does the data come from?

Results are calculated from active jobs in ApplyAll's live jobs database—1.8M+ listings pulled from employer career sites and ATS sources ApplyAll monitors.

Which countries are supported?

You can run the calculator for the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Visa sponsorship filtering is currently available for U.S. employers only.

Do I need to sign up to use it?

No. You can adjust filters and see results without creating an account. Sign up when you're ready for ApplyAll to help you apply to matching roles.

Does the calculator store my personal information?

No. Filter choices can be encoded into a shareable link on your device, but the calculator does not create an account or save your preferences unless you choose to register with ApplyAll.

Will this help me find my dream job?

It shows how selective your standards are in today's market. To actually land matching roles, ApplyAll can apply on your behalf at scale—start from the results page when you're ready.

What does the percentage mean?

The denominator is every active listing in your selected country whose title contains your search term and that ApplyAll has parsed. Other filters then narrow that pool. When a filter is active, jobs missing that field (salary, experience, workplace mode, sponsorship, or skills) do not count as matches—only listings with known matching data do.
