Job Description:

Zettamine Labs is seeking a skilled and proactive SAP ABAP HANA Upgrade Consultant with deep expertise in ABAP development and SAP system upgrade processes. This role involves leading technical upgrade activities, resolving complex upgrade-related issues, and supporting both project teams and junior consultants through the upgrade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP ABAP-related tasks during system upgrades to SAP HANA.

• Perform and oversee SPAU, SPAU_ENH, and SPDD activities.

• Handle RICEFW objects independently (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during upgrade, FUT (Functional Unit Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and post-upgrade phases.

• Delegate tasks, manage defect tracking, and ensure timely follow-ups across functional and technical teams.

• Guide and mentor junior team members on defect resolution and upgrade methodologies.

• Raise and manage OSS messages to SAP for standard issues and ensure resolution.

• Ensure effective communication with cross-stream teams to maintain upgrade timelines and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, with proven upgrade project experience.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP upgrade tools and processes including SPAU, SPAU_ENH, SPDD.

• Strong RICEFW development skills.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

• Familiarity with OSS note creation and management.
