This position involves working directly with students in an after-school setting.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $20.00/hour after successful completion of onboarding and 24 hours of on-site training
Typical Schedule
- Regular School Days: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Early Release Days: Up to 5.25 hours
- Regular Bell Days: Up to 4.25 hours
In addition to working directly with students, there will occasionally be:
- Staff meetings with Fresno Unified site facilitators
- TSP staff meetings
- Professional development and required trainings throughout the school year
Reliability and consistent attendance are extremely important because we are contracted to provide services to Fresno Unified students every school day.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have reliable transportation to multiple locations
- Must have no criminal record
- Must possess a minimum of 48 college units or pass the Paraprofessional Test and provide proof of a high school diploma/GED and a valid photo ID.
As part of the hiring and onboarding process, all employees are required to complete:
- Live Scan background check
- TB testing
- Mandated Reporter Training
- CPR, First Aid & AED Certification
- Heads Up Concussion Certification
- Heat Illness Prevention Certification
- Any additional district or TSP-required trainings
