Job description

Aureol Global Connections is looking for three experienced Workshop Supervisors to lead our dynamic production teams. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and are completed on time. You will manage a team of skilled fabricators and machinists, providing guidance and support while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily workshop activities and manage the workflow to meet production schedules.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fabricators and machinists, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Coordinate training programs for team members to enhance skills and boost performance.
  • Monitor production progress and address any issues that arise to maintain optimal efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including timelines, materials used, and workforce performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining processes, and relevant materials.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Relevant certifications and training in safety protocols or manufacturing processes are a plus.
