Job Summary

NetApp is seeking an enthusiastic and customer centric Greater China WX Program Manger to join our Workplace Experience (WX) Team. This position would be based in Taipei (Taiwan). This role reports to a Senior Workplace Experience Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workplace experience in the Greater China region, including the day-to-day facilities operations, health and safety on site, curating workplace experiences to foster connection both in person on site and across a large, globally distributed workforce. The role is predominantly site based with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

Operational ownership for workplace experience in the NetApp offices for the Greater China Region, leading small site-based teams and vendor partners and working in close partnership with our employees and the wider global WX team to drive consistency, solutions, and curated experiences.

 

    • Knowledge of critical facilities and an understanding of basic technical aspects of facilities management systems including HVAC, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS systems etc
    • EH&S and risk management.
    • Strong Financial Management across the hard and soft opex budget, snack programs, events, and capex
    • Strong Communication and presentation skills with an ability to listen, iterate and influence across multiple levels of NetApp. Ability to speak and write English is a must.
    • Proactively engage, build, and maintain employees to build an environment that supports connection, collaboration, and culture on site.
    • Mentor and enable Training & Development of other team members.
    • Strong vendor management including managing vendors in terms of service level agreements, standard operating procedures, key performance indicators and quality reporting.
    • Plan and manage all vendor services in line with contract provisions, focusing on improvement and value for money.
    • Health & Safety Management including on site safe working environment, statutory regulations, and all local safety standards.
    • Seek continuous quality improvement and promote best practices.
    • Support NetApp Safety and Security to implement all health, safety, and security standards.
    • Ensure all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are upheld.
    • Risk Management including occasional out of hours incident management support.
    • Ensure escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures are in place and adhered to.
    • Support and lead small works including refresh projects and occasional larger capex works with the support of third-party specialists.
    • Recommend and present solutions to complex challenges to gain approval on the scope and priority for current and future projects.
    • Ensure management are informed of key issues and changes that might impact business results and always ensure adherence to NetApp procedures and processes.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Excellent people skills and a passion for hospitality, connection, and collaboration
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements & Works Council Relationship (if applicable)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and local languages. Proficiency in Cantonese is an added advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in managing daily activities using Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of quality management and KPI measurement
  • Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
  • Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts and relevant terms.
  • Competence in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Move and relocation management and delivery.
  • Tertiary qualification in facilities management, building, business or other related field &/or at least 5 years’ experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field.
