Job description

Accordience Work Experience Programme 2026

Interested in a career in communications?

If you're curious about what it's like to work in PR, social media, influencer marketing or communications, our Work Experience Programme is a great place to start.

Over four days, you'll spend time across a number of Accordience agencies, meeting people from different teams, learning about the industry and getting a real insight into agency life. Whether you're already set on a career in communications or just starting to explore your options, this programme will help you understand the different opportunities available.

Programme details

  • Dates: Monday 24th August – Thursday 27th August 2026

  • Location: London

  • Duration: 4 days

  • Eligibility: Open to anyone aged 16 or over who is currently in full-time education

The programme is unpaid, but we'll cover reasonable travel expenses and provide a daily lunch allowance.

What to expect

During the week you'll spend time across the Accordience agencies, giving you the chance to experience different areas of the communications industry.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Meet people working across PR, social media, influencer marketing and corporate communications

  • Learn how communications campaigns are planned and delivered

  • Take part in workshops and practical activities

  • Shadow teams and ask plenty of questions

  • Hear about different career paths into the industry

  • Build your confidence and make connections with people working in communications

This is a work experience programme, so you'll be observing, shadowing and taking part in activities designed to help you learn, rather than working on live client projects.

Who can apply?

You don't need any previous experience.

We're looking for people who are interested in communications, enjoy learning new things and are keen to get involved. Whether you're at school, sixth form or college and thinking about your next steps, we'd love to hear from you.

Our commitment to inclusion

We want our industry to better reflect the communities we work with and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.

As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, we'll be reserving a number of places for applicants from under-represented groups, in line with the Equality Act 2010. There'll be an optional equality monitoring section as part of the application process, but choosing whether or not to complete it won't affect how your application is assessed.

How to apply

Rather than sending us a CV, we'll ask you to answer three short questions (up to 150 words each):

  • What are you hoping to learn from this programme?

  • Tell us about something you've been curious enough to teach yourself.

  • Pick a brand, organisation or industry body you think is doing something interesting online. Tell us what caught your attention.

We will aim to let successful applicants know by Friday 7th August.

We look forward to receiving your application.
