Wonderful College Scholar Summer Internship, CSR Preschool

Wonderful Education provides the resources that every student needs to succeed in school and launch a rewarding career. With two preschools and innovative Career Pathways and College Success programs, we are reinventing the educational experience for students across California’s Central Valley.  Between these programs and our new Wonderful Career Center, we are working to break the cycle of generational poverty and increase long-term career opportunities. Lynda and Stewart Resnick, co-owners of The Wonderful Company, along with their foundation, fund college scholarships. The Resnicks also founded two K–12 Wonderful College Prep Academy charter schools in Delano and Lost Hills, California, and continue to support them to this day. ​​We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for a full-time 8-week internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on professional experience in a preschool setting. Learn how to develop and teach student-based activities for preschoolers aged two to four years old.   

​This position is located at Wonderful Preschool at WCPA in Lost Hills. The start date is June 15, 2026, and the schedule for this internship will vary between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay Rate: $18.50/Hour.

Here is what you will do: 

• ​​​​Enrich the learning experience for Wonderful Preschool students 
• ​Ensure the well-being and safety and supervision of all Wonderful Preschool students 
• ​Interact with children, including one-on-ones 
• ​Assist Teachers to prepare and organize instructional materials, learning centers, and classroom environments 
• ​Assist with classroom cleanliness and organization throughout the day 
• ​Follow all program policies, procedures, and state licensing regulations 
• ​Other duties assigned 

• Must be 18 years of age and a Wonderful Scholar active and eligible for college success scholarship 
• ​Must upload a resume, cover letter, and professional reference with your application 
• ​​Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• ​Self-directed and able to work autonomously  
• ​Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas 
• ​ECE units preferred  
• ​Live Scan clearance​
