Windows/Mobile Architect

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of relevant software development experience required with at least the last 3 years being in the role of Architect
Experience designing and implementing large scale, distributed platforms on the Microsoft stack (.NET, Azure, and so forth). Practical knowledge of Windows desktop and mobile technologies (UWP, Windows 10, Xamarin) is vital
Experience with back-end architecture (including one or more middle-tier oriented messaging platforms) and implementation (web services, databases, security), on platforms and technologies such as Azure, Solace, MQ, Redis, Tibco, etc.
Experience designing and deploying shared micro services (API design, security, versioning, etc)
Experience implementing in one or more modern Javascript technologies (Angular/React) is a strong plus
Experience in cross platform technologies and native development in iOS or Android is a plus
Experience participating in all aspects of large scale architecture projects including: ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, production, and on-going operational support and maintenance
Experience navigating enterprise governance and change control procedures (preparing competitive technology comparisons, presenting to architecture committees, change control, project and standards oversight)
20-30% overall time travelling is expected, with a few periods of consecutive travel potentially needed to kick off projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an architect in New York, you will be be involved in the definition, design, implementation, and roll out of enterprise solutions for many of our top clients across industries. You will work closely with Infusion's creative team to produce award-winning user experiences and ensure seamless connectivity across different channels. Architects have the willingness and the ability to travel to meet with clients to support project and sales efforts with clients.
