Window Service Engineer

HR Recruiting Service is a national staffing company specializing in permanent full time placements and contract hires.

This senior application developer opportunity will work alongside a small team and hands on

director in building & enhancing over a dozen critical C# applications used within investment,

finance & reporting. The programmer that lands this job will be stimulated with overall software

design, project ownership and will have direct interaction with the heads of several business

groups.

Initial Responsibilities:

• Work with a small, senior team to further enhance applications by implementing .Net 4.5

web technologies (including C#, MVC & JQuery, SQL Server).

• Assist Director of Application Development in new software design; shifting 3rd party

applications to homegrown.

• Assume project ownership of SDLC while acting as project manager and business

analyst; interacting with departments including investment, operations, HR & accounting.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mathematics.

• Proven expertise as a programmer “from scratch” software design and SDLC on a

Microsoft 4.5 (front to back) web stack (C#, MVC, jQuery, ASP.Net, SQL Server).

• Project management experience to interact directly with business users.

• Current or past exposure to the financial services industry.

• Live within a realistic commuting distance to Wilton, CT
