Promote and enable a safe and positive working environment.
Lead and set directions for the team to attain alignment and effectively manage the area resources.
Partner with the Fab Training team to develop and implement tactical and strategic area training plans.
Conduct performance management and professional development of TMs.
Maintain processes that ensure timely and accurate communication between shifts, other teams, and leadership.
Manage, measure and monitor projects to ensure deliverables and time frames are met.
Involve in mid to long term capacity and cycle time planning for the area, i.e. strategic game plan with the ramping technode & multiple part types.
Optimize area tool performance in accordance with OMT Business Plan, Strategies and Goals.
Directing tool upgrades, area wide maintenance scheduling and reporting performance metrics.
Encourage and coordinate TPM and Capital Asset Utilization activities for the area.
Informing Area and Fab Leadership on all equipment related issues impacting Quality, Output & Yield.
Guide Tool Owners in conducting root cause analysis and creating plans for scrap and excursion abatement.
Partner closely with Operations team to ensure successful communication and collaboration between shift teams & 1st shift Equipment Team.
Work closely with Suppliers to resolve tool problems, and defect issues as well as maximize tool availability.
Partnering with Purchasing, Facilities, Contractors and Suppliers to sustain the existing fleet of tools & minimize tool interruptions.
