Wellness Faculty Opportunity

Tallahassee State College, recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is seeking a qualified candidate for a Wellness Faculty position (P00744) in the Science and Mathematics Division.

TSC is a dynamic and growing comprehensive community college located in Tallahassee, Florida. The College’s 2022 fall enrollment of more than 10,000 students includes nearly 44 percent minority students. The College enjoys a strong reputation for teaching excellence and for producing graduates with Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Science degrees, and college credit certificates. Tallahassee is also home to two state universities, Florida State University and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. What You’ll Do 

This is a full-time faculty position that is responsible for providing in-person instruction, curriculum, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development. Starting salaries for instructional faculty positions are competitive.

Who We’re Looking For

The Wellness Faculty must have: 

  •  Master's degree in biology or related or applied biological science subfield or master’s degree in Nursing or other Clinical Healthcare Field or 18 graduate semester hours in biology, medical sciences, or related or applied biological science subfield + Master's degree Qualifying Fields include:. Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Cell biology, Chiropractic, Genetics, Marine biology, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Mycology, Neurobiology, Pathobiology or pathology, Physiology, Phytopathology, Visual Science, or Zoology
