Wellness Director, Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel Tuscany

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Wellness Director to lead and elevate the wellbeing journey at our prestigious Tuscan estate.

Moving beyond traditional spa management, the Wellness Director will be responsible for defining and executing a holistic wellness concept that integrates spa treatments, fitness, nutrition, and mindful outdoor experiences. The ideal candidate is a leader who balances high-level operational excellence with a creative entrepreneurial spirit, ensuring that the wellness department remains a key pillar of the guest experience and a driver of profitability.

Requirements

• Strategic Leadership: Define and evolve the wellness vision for the property, ensuring all services and programs align with Belmond’s ultra-luxury standards and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) protocols.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient running and profitability of the wellness facilities. This includes budget management, KPI monitoring, and implementing strategies to maximize treatment and retail revenue.
• Concept Development: Curate a unique wellness menu that honors the estate’s landscape incorporating local ingredients, Etruscan inspired rituals, and outdoor wellness activities (e.g., yoga in the vineyards).
• Quality Control: Ensure the highest standards of facial and body treatments. While the role is strategic, the Director must ensure the team provides expert skincare advice and flawless service delivery.
• Team Empowerment: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team. Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and collaboration.
• Guest Relations: Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with guests to create personalized wellness journeys and handling all feedback with grace and emotional intelligence.
