Who you are:
Ensure welding process implemented well and continuously improve company’s welding technical level.
About the job:
- Review customer welding documents, prepare welding documents according to customer requirement.
- Responsible for the review and development of WPS/PQR and related process documents. make sure it compliance to applicable standards, codes (ASME-U. PV, PED, Nuclear), and customer specifications.
- Performing the responsibilities of welding engineer as a member of the quality assurance system.
- Improving welding processes by using quality improvement tools to support capability set up and capacity increase.
- Develop fixture to support welding work and improve productivity
- Woking with QA to analysis the critical failure and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Responsible for new product’s welding process introduction and new welding process development.
- Develop welding standard work process and train welders to deliver high quality.
- Monitor and improving the workshop welding quality and deal with welding issues.
- Attend the third-party audit and make sure the welding process is acceptable.
- Keep in touch with welding engineer in AL competence network.
- Lead and support automation welding activity like project manager
- Support suppliers to improve their welding quality.
- Put safety as the first priority in all work, and ensure all activities are compliant with EHS police.
- Take the responsibility of NSA/ASME system relevant role.
What you know:
- Bachelor's degree or above, major in Welding or Mechanical.
- At least 5 years’ working experience on welding.
- In depth knowledge of welding technology and familiar with the code including Nuclear, PV, ASME or relative standard.
- Ability to work in an international team.
- Good English in speaking and writing.
