Wave Analyst (B Shift) - East Coast Fulfillment Center

Schedule - B Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 4:00PM-2:00AM

The Wave Analyst is responsible for evaluating, monitoring and executing the daily outbound work flow. The Wave Analyst will formulate and communicate the most effective plan to all outbound departments, ensuring that ECFC is meeting its service level commitments to Nordstrom’s customers. 

A day in the life…  

• Ensure a continuous work flow for all outbound departments and Stock Control by defining priorities based on customer demand and service level agreements 

• Identify problems and expedite solutions to ensure smooth, continuous work flow to Picking and all major production areas in the Packing department 

• Monitor production rates across departments and fulfillment lanes and make suggestions related to staffing adjustments to improve throughput 

• Research and communicate system issues to drive quick resolutions to avoid down time 

You own this if you have…  

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a fulfillment center environment 

• A minimum of 6+ months experience of research using WM and WCS 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Outlook and Excel) 

• High attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to multi task 

• Ability to focus and perform at a high level in a stressful, fast-paced and volatile environment 

• Experience and knowledge of Packing Cross Belt Sorter and Put Wall/Pre-Sort production areas (preferred)
