Warehouse Worker - Sanitation

Location: Rocky View County, Alberta

Job Description:

Looking to join an energetic and dynamic warehouse team? Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies, is looking for candidates like you! 

We are looking for a cleaner to join our warehouse team on a 3-month contract. We have an opening on our day shift. We are excited for you to join our energetic and fast growing team!

What you will be doing:

• Pick up all debris on warehouse floor (e.g., pallets, slip-sheets, plastic wrap, etc.)
• Breakdown (or compact) cardboard and recycle
• Throw out plastic and other non-recycled items into garbage bins
• Tape up broken bags and report to inventory to adjust
• Clean and replenish supplies in washrooms
• Prevent and report damages
• Operate moving equipment (e.g., compactors, floor sweepers, safely and ensure equipment is in proper working order before each shift)
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor

What we are looking for:

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a warehouse setting, preferred
