We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as Warehouse Supervisor.  This position reports to the Warehouse Manager assisting to oversee all operational activities at the Ace Hardware Warehouse, managing processes from the receipt of goods to customer delivery. This role entails ensuring that inventory for the Ace Hardware & Building Supplies Division is accurately received, secured, and controlled, while also guaranteeing timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Supervise assigned staff and help plan and schedule their work.
  • Assist in ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory.
  • Maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse.
  • Support efforts to secure stock against pilferage.
  • Aid in inventory management.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Help coordinate order fulfillment activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Assist in off-loading goods from containers and receiving break bulk cargo.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized.
  • Ensure the proper and prompt handling of all customer invoices.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Business Management or other related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years’ inventory management experience at a managerial/supervisory level.
