Warehouse Manager

Purpose Statement:  Site expert in the area of Warehousing/Inventory Control, driving operational improvement through implementation of best practices, management of the required resources in the Supply Chain Value Stream with an emphasis on continuous improvement.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Lead a strategy of site capabilities in alignment with a global strategy, standards, and customer requirements. Manage site capabilities in support of customer/sales opportunity funnels, as needed for material deployment.
• Manage the tabulation and improvement of metrics related to health of warehouse, shipping and inventory control management.
• Lead the identification and propagation of best practices being shared across sites/regions. Support the management and training of resources for the deployment of global processes.
• Lead and manage the site processes and procedures for all material control and deployment for the site (receiving, warehousing, line side, shipping, etc.).
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements:  

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.

Travel Requirements:  

• Less than 40%
