Responsibilities of the Warehouse Driver include, but are not limited to:

• Safely operate company vehicles (including box trucks and pickup trucks) to transport vacuum pumps, parts, and equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment with care, using appropriate tools and handling procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, including invoices, work orders, and customer signatures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal staff regarding delivery schedules and any unexpected delays.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including organizing inventory, shipping/receiving, and general upkeep as needed.
• Provide assistance with field service jobs when required.

Qualifications of the Warehouse Driver include, but are not limited to:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or a related role.
• Valid Class C driver’s license
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 80+ lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Additional Information

Physical Demand: Must be able to lift 80+ lbs. and have a clean driving record.

Pay Range: $18-$26

Working Conditions: Outdoor work may be required in various weather conditions
Training/Certifications: Current CA Driver License
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to change based on workload)
Travel: Possible travel to other DXP Branches
Education: High School or equivalent.
