Warehouse Administrator

Control entry and exit of equipment, parts of electric submersible pumps and other supplies to and from the warehouse in order to increase APC’s efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness within APC’s operational plans, and adopted policies and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

Inventory/Physical Count:

• Control, store, and distribute the entry and exit of APC inventory movements properly and according to set processes and procedures.
• Participate in audits of inventory in order to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor the loading of vehicles to and from workshop to different locations and ensure loads are in line with accompanied inventory lists.
• Perform physical and cyclical counts of inventory as and when needed for reconciliations.
• Ability to drive and operate forklift for the movement of heavy goods and loading requirements to trucks, etc.
• Any job or task assigned by his superior.

Policies, Processes and Procedures:

• Implement approved Supply Chain policies, processes, procedures and coordinate with subordinates.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement .
• Control day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.

Safety, Health and Environment:

• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls.
• Report on changes within APC that impact relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

• Knowledge of Inventory Systems.
• Knowledge in design, manufacture and functionality of components of electric submersible pumps.
• Knowledge driving a forklift and crane bridge, minimum six (6) months of experience.
• Knowledge and skills handling computer with Microsoft Windows and specific applications.

Education and Certifications:

• Diploma or Higher in relevant discipline.
• Technical qualification in inventory management or logistics.
• Good command of English.
