Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES - INDIVIDUAL

STRATEGY

  • Conduct credit assessment on borrower per triggering event based on RMT Framework triggers, ie. EWS/ Core/ Pre-emptive/ Country-specific triggers.
  • Conduct site visit for borrowers located in Klang Valley.
  • Review & manage Special Mentioned (SM) account.
  • Review and handle Reschedule & Restructuring (R&R) cases.
  • Conduct stress test or any ad-hoc request from management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration across all levels.
  • Propose new/ best approach as and when found.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & EXPERIENCE

  • Providing credit solutions/ services to manage the delinquency of customer’s borrowing account/s.
  • Review, recommend and/ or close account strategy according to customer’s needs with the interest of the bank in mind.
  • To assist customer on R&R as and when required.

POLICY & PROCEDURE

  • Well verse with the following credit policies: -
  • Country Credit Lending Policy (CLP)
  • CMB Credit Policy (CCP)
  • Group Credit Lending Policy (GCLP)
  • RMT Framework
  • Familiar with technical knowledge such as financial/ credit underwriting criteria

RESPONSIBILITIES – TEAM

SALES & STRATEGY

  • Track & follow up on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis on the progress and status of Exception Reviews (ER) from submission to approval for Centralized Review Team (CRT).
  • Provide training, support and guidance to RMT Team on credit analysis, reviews and compliance where required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, eg. Credit, Middle Office, CAC, WLOC, TROC, etc to discuss/ negotiate/ improve cases/ processes.
  • Address any challenges or issues that may arise within the team
  • Develop/ recommend solutions to ensure daily operations are smooth
  • Ensure professional development of CRT Members
  • Share best practices with CRT Members
