Job Description

• Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-selling UOB's full range of banking products and services.
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and enhance UOB's brand presence in Hong Kong.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and risk assessments for clients, ensuring sound credit decisions and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee the structuring and execution of complex financial transactions, including syndicated loans, trade finance, and treasury products.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments, including product development, legal, and compliance, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Represent UOB at industry events and conferences, enhancing the bank's profile and networking with key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on business performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or a similar role within a reputable financial institution, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services, including corporate lending, trade finance, treasury, and capital markets.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to originate, structure, and execute complex financial transactions.
• Solid credit analysis and risk assessment skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese (both written and spoken) is essential; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Deep knowledge of the Hong Kong financial market and regulatory environment.
• Results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management (CRM) accredited by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) is preferred
