VP of Operations & Strategy

About The Role

Seven Retail Group is looking for a highly strategic and execution-driven VP Operations & Strategy to lead operational excellence and business transformation across one of our Business Units. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, scaling business performance, optimizing cross-functional execution, and translating company strategy into impactful initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the Business Unit achieves its operational, financial, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives and operational improvements within the Business Unit to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with Seven Retail’s overall vision and long-term objectives.
• Analyze business performance, operational bottlenecks, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
• Oversee end-to-end business operations, ensuring efficient processes, strong execution, and operational excellence across functions.
• Build operational frameworks, SOPs, and scalable processes to improve productivity and organizational effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage key business metrics, KPIs, and financial performance to ensure targets are achieved.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and People teams to drive alignment and execution.
• Lead business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain a healthy P&L.
• Drive data-driven decision making through business insights, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Build and lead a high-performing team by fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic discussions and negotiations with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders when required.
• Represent the Business Unit in engagements with key stakeholders, including partners, regulators, and industry networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Management, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• 7–12 years of experience in Strategy, Operations, Management Consulting, Business Transformation, or General Management roles.
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence, scaling business operations, and leading strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex business and operational challenges.
• Strong business acumen with hands-on experience managing KPIs, budgeting, and P&L performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
• Experience in top-tier management consulting firms and/or high-growth startup environments is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
