The Visual Designer is responsible for creating engaging, user-centric designs for digital platforms while ensuring compliance with branding and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences by creating visual assets such as design specifications, wireframes, and flowcharts.

• Translates complex technical details from experts into intuitive and user-friendly designs for the target audience.

• Coordinating visual elements and ensuring the final product is both visually appealing and informative.

• Ensures all designs meet high standards for usability, consistency, and aesthetic quality.

• Develop high-quality UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Ensure WCAG 2.1 compliance for accessibility.

• Design graphics, icons, and layouts for applications and dashboards.

• Work with developers to ensure seamless design implementation.

• Maintain and update design style guides and component libraries.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, UX Design, Human-Centered Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Minimum of (7) years of experience working with developers, testers, analysts, and other subject matter experts to create and deliver concise and effective visual designs for user interfaces and user experiences in application support activities.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and InVision.

• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles.

• Experience designing for federal agencies or enterprise applications.

Employment Type:

• Full Time, Hybrid – Must be able to report on-site at client’s location, as required. 

Security Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active MBI Clearance preferred.

• US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required.

Salary range: $74,000 - $101,000 per year
