Visual Basic Application Consultant

We are seeking a fast-paced engineer who's willing to work with great clients in a fun environment. You will work close to our client's software in order to certificate their software quality. 

• Writes Visual Basic code in the .NET framework that performs automated functions for business operations
• Create and design access database projects for accessing old data and develop user reports
• Participates in peer reviews of designs and code of other team members
• Researches system issues, which includes analyzing information, reading source code, and understanding issues to identify potential solutions; explains the issue and findings to other team members
• Provides work estimates and status on development assignments to the Project Manager
• Advise business stakeholders on ways to make processes more efficient and employees more productive.
• Determine and document user requirements for business processes
• Developing technical solutions to business problems, with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements and workflows
• Performing requirements analysis
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff

Qualified applicants will have expert skills in the following areas:

• Visual Basic/VB/VBScript
• MS SQL Server
• SQL Statements
• Third-party APIs
• Consultantcy

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of related VB programming experience
• 3+ years of experience with developing applications in Visual Basic
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
