YOU ROLE

To accelerate our commercial transformation in East Africa, we are in the process of streamlining the commercial function to better enable our business development and operations teams. Deploying a VIE will provide critical capacity and specialized focused support to drive this transformation, ensuring effective management change across our entities. The VIE will work closely with Cluster Head, who is leading this strategic initiative, to strengthen commercial capabilities, enhance process alignment, and ultimately position the East Africa region for sustainable growth:

• Maintain ongoing competitor intelligence activities to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market dynamics
• Create and update informational documents relating to East Africa and related markets and evaluate market opportunities & propose segmentation
• Analyze performance as well as deviations from the commercial budget.
  • Following correct system update and the CEVA's digital tools, in collaboration with technical teams (BPS). 
  • Prepare monthly performance reviews for MBR.
  • Facilitate commercial transformation and change management within our network (Power BI connected to TMS/CW)
  • Create and update informational documents related to your geographic area
  • Evaluate market opportunities & propose segmentation
  • Maintain ongoing competitor intelligence activities to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market dynamics

ABOUT YOU

• Master’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Economics or related field
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• Interest in market analysis and business development
• Fluent in English
