VIE Agency Trade Analyst - Seoul

YOUR ROLE

Agency Trade Analyst coordinates with HO/RO Lines and Sales Offices to support the production and analysis of vessel profiles and commercial forecasts and contributes to pricing strategy and overall trade performance optimization.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Your main responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Manage pricing strategy from/to Korea on designated services in coordination with the Head of Department and Trade Management Team
• Monitor and analyze performance against allocations to ensure optimal loadings
• Provide strategic recommendations to optimize trade performance, including revenue, volume, and market share
• Communicate daily with Management to share market insights and strategic recommendations
• Act as the main contact point for designated customers, including visits, rate negotiation, service promotion, and follow-up support.
• Prepare reports, market studies, competitor analysis and perform other tasks required by Management.
• Report to Lines on issues related to pricing, routing, and digital pricing platforms
• Support ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals are eligible for this mission offered as a VIE. 
• Master degree in any business-related course
• Strong knowledge of shipping pricing and trade management
• Customer knowledge and understanding of commercial policy and offers
• Strong analytical and business intelligence capabilities
• Negotiation and commercial activity management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in Korean and English
