We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, User Experience (UI) to join our ETF Technology Team. This role is in Lake Mary– ONSITE/Hybrid (4-day in office/1 day optional remote).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

UI developer (not a designer) who will be expanding and maintaining our Asset library based on PrimeNG Angular component library. Also, this person would need to be able to assist various development teams in the UI development of page elements and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc. Should be proficient in the latest front end/UI development.

Essential requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience.
• Be comfortable in a leadership or team member role.
• Contribute to the long-term vision of our platforms from a user perspective.
• Provide creative leadership on new product ideas and keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• Work with the visual design team to implement visual styles that support platform branding, look and feel, and increase user effectiveness.
• Create and maintain user interface and visual design standards and guidelines.
• Great collaboration and individual problem-solving skills required for data gathering, identifying insights and creating optimal solutions in the user experience.
• Knowledge of PrimeNG and Angular is a must.

Desirable skills:

Working knowledge of the financial services industry, security markets, and regulations.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience required experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
