Job description

Overview of the Role

  • The Team Lead - TTS Client PMO, is expected to manage the TTS Client PMO team in Japan, which managers highly complex and time-sensitive client implementations/ projects covering cash management and trade products.

  • The Team Lead is also expected to manage a portfolio of such deals as a Project Manager.

  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and total client satisfaction for the projects managed by TTS Client PMO team: Implement client objectives within standard guidelines and timeframes

  • Act as an advisor to the client in building the overall structure of the project and fine tune the solution to fit the client's requirements.

  • In the project manager role act as the primary interface to client contacts, while coordinating all internal and external project related activities.

  • In the Team Lead role, act as the advisor to senior client counterparts in structuring project management approach.

  • Support Sales effort by participating as a part of the deal team to prepare client pitches.

  • Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives.

  • Appropriately manage and resolve issues and escalations raised in the client PMO team, and in the projects through proper issue tracking and escalation channels.

  • Continuously seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements in the process and Implement such improvements whenever possible.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of client management and implementation/ project management experience.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with cash/trade products and business processes.

  • Strong influencing skills to manage virtual teams.

  • Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional - PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, or equivalent) is an advantage.


Education

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is required, Masters degree is good to have.

  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English.
