Vice President Mining, Latin/South America

My client is based in Latin America and is looking for a seasoned mining professional to join their team.  You will have the required educational background coupled with the demonstrated experience that will be associated with this role.  Fluent in English.  Being able to speak Spanish will be an advantage.
REQUIREMENTS:

·       You will have at least 20 years experience and a proven record of accomplishment in building multinational teams & operating mines safely in difficult political environments.

·       Broad executive, operations & change management experience across precious and poly metallic mines O/P & U/G worldwide with focus on financing, project management, community & environmental, mentoring & delivering team performance.

·       You will demonstrate the following specialties: Building new mines and growing exiting mines in difficult jurisdictions in South America.  Strong technical & leadership skills. Extensive base & precious metal mines experience in developing countries.
