Vice President - Infrastructure Critical Service - IT

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead the support team for the critical IT infrastructure of HKEX. The role involves leadership and team management, engagement with subject matter experts, vendors and other IT leads to ensure quality of our critical infrastructure services.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Provide team management and leadership
• Production incident management and follow-up
• Manage budget, resource, responsibilities and schedules
• Establish effective change controls, procedures and quality assurance processes
• Support stakeholders in the prioritisation of initiatives/changes
• Manage IT compliance, risks and issues register
• Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to the management as appropriate and make recommendations for mitigation/remediation.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Develop continuous enhancement/automation plans, monitor and track progress

Requirements:

• University degree in IT or related subject
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in IT support with at least 5 years at management/supervisory level
• Meticulous attention to details and problem solving skills
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience of working with multiple teams and stakeholder in sizable organizations
• Effective in unifying and creating teams of people with disparate skills
• Builds trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances
• Self-starter, able to work independently, highly motivated with a strong delivery
