Vice President - Data Business - Process and Workflow Optimization

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the HKEX Data Business and play a significant role in shaping data products and services, a growth business within the group. We are looking for a high caliber and motivated individual to join the Data Business product development team. The role will be responsible for driving optimization of commercial, client and operational processes and controls in Data Business’ platforms and products.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

 

·         Drive change and application development initiatives for strengthening and optimizing commercial, client and operational process and controls

·         Lead application/system development through full life cycle from initiation stage to delivery collaborating with business process owners and technology partners 

·         Technical analysis on operational process and control workflows, evaluation and improvement proposals

·         Project management and coordination of initiatives, including financial and operational risk management aspects

·         Undertake any other responsibilities and projects assigned

Requirements:

·         University degree or equivalent

·         At least 10 years of relevant experience in well-established finance or financial data organization - experience with financial market data licensing a plus

·         Hands-on skills and experience in business process analysis and management, operational workflow mapping, process and control improvement

·         Strong organizational, project management skills related to technology development and delivery, and vendor relationship management

·         Experience with market data licensing, usage and billing processes, financial operational and technology risk management, a plus

·         Excellent inter-personal, presentation and communication skills; demonstrated leadership and people management, analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Strong team player with ability to self-start, self-learn, be adaptable, work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset

·         Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word

·         Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
