We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Business Development Manager.
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement distribution strategies through working closely and supporting Financial Advisory (FA) distribution partners to achieve high growth and profitability.
- Grow business financial targets by exploring new business opportunities including but not limited to activating new sellers and increase existing sellers’ productivity of HSBC Life products within cluster of assigned FA partners.
- To achieve Strategic Plan targets segment targets by growing number of sellers, overall topline and bottom-line performance FA Distribution Key performance indicators (KPIs).
- To collaborate with internal colleagues to support FA partners in day-to-day business with HSBC Life to deliver positive customer experiences and outcomes.
- Contribute to the growth of FA Partnerships distribution by excelling in planned targets through strong knowledge of in-house product propositions and understanding of market needs and landscape.
- Look to create best practices to ensure FA partners are properly trained in product, sales methods and compliance.
- Case Management including facilitation and oversight of the internal operation - submission to inception ratios targets; length of time in each case processing steps (SLAs).
- Ensure self and team activities comply with relevant legal/regulatory requirements and HSBC practice standards and procedures by implementing a high level of HSBC Life brand and value awareness, including implement guidelines established by HSBC Group / Life.
To be successful you will need:
- Have an in-depth understanding of the landscape in the insurance industry in Singapore.
- Strong experience in life insurance preferably in sales management.
- Ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to provide group trainings to FA partners including on-stage public speaking.
