Young's Animal Hospital is now hiring a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our AMAZING team!

 The right candidate:

• Possesses strong communication and customer service skills
• Works well on a team as well as independently
• Is able to work weekends and some on-call hours

Job Overview:
Our Veterinary Technicians will be able to demonstrate the appropriate skills and knowledge that are essential in the role. These skills include strong client and teammate communication skills, client education, animal restraint, general cleaning and housekeeping, phlebotomy, iv catheter placement, dental prophylaxis, anesthesia monitoring, etc. Candidates should demonstrate a strong drive and ability to work both independently and with a team when necessary.

We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to work in a fast-paced, high-caliber practice that emphasizes work/life balance while providing excellent patient care. Our technicians work closely with our veterinarians and are critical to the overall care of our patients.  Our technicians also play a very important role in the practice’s communications with our clients. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• direct patient care
• lab sample acquisition
• in-house laboratory sample evaluation
• anesthesia monitoring
• pre- and post-surgical care
