Pet Emergency & Specialty Center East County is hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our AMAZING Surgery team!

Ideal Candidate:

• Has excellent client service and communication skills
• Possesses advanced anesthetic skills
• Has an ability to remain calm under pressure
• Has strong technical skills including venipuncture, radiology and math skills
• Has a  minimum of 1 year full time veterinary anesthesia/surgery experience
• Registered Veterinary Technicians are preferred but licensure is not required

Job Overview:

Our Surgery Technicians are required to have previous client service experience, strong multi-tasking skills, effective verbal, listening and communications skills. Advanced anesthetic skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are a must. This position requires the use of strong medical math, venipuncture, and radiology skills. Registered Veterinary Technicians are preferred but not licensure is not required.
