Veterinary Assistant Oncology

VCA Animal Specialty & Emergency Center is seeking Veterinary Assistant to join the Oncology Department at our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour emergency and multi-specialty practice in West Los Angeles, California. 

Location: 1535 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025

Schedule:  Full-time, Wednesday - Saturday, 8:30 AM - 7 PM

Salary:  $20 -30 per hour

VCA ASEC is a high-volume, AAHA-accredited, state-of-the-art specialty referral and 24-hour critical care hospital located in West Los Angeles. We are a fast-paced teaching hospital that provides an amazing learning environment and a rewarding caseload. Team members who have a strong desire to learn and great communication skills are a must.

• Patient Handling
• Assisting in Patient Treatments
• Client education and care
• Support for the client service team
• Equipment Maintenance

• Experience with computers, phones, and billing is a must. 

• Experience in Veterinary Medicine preferred
