Vehicle Title Supervisor
Lendbuzz
Apply to this jobWe are proud to have a solid, highly effective foundation of processes and procedures already in place. Now, we are looking for a data-driven, people-first Vehicle Title Supervisor in Boston to take our execution to the next level.
In this role, your primary mission is operational excellence through performance management. Leading a dedicated team of 10+ title professionals, you will be responsible for defining what success looks like on a daily basis, developing clear performance metrics, and coaching your team to consistently meet and exceed those benchmarks. If you are an open-minded leader who loves tracking data, driving accountability, and developing talent, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Metrics Development: Design, refine, and implement daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the title department to ensure optimal productivity and accuracy.
-
Performance Management & Accountability: Actively monitor daily team metrics, ensuring all 10+ employees are meeting production goals and maintaining high compliance standards.
-
Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide real-time feedback, conducting regular one-on-ones and performance reviews to help team members hit their daily targets. You will be leading team members that are in-office, remote (across the US), and offshore in our international BPOs.
-
Operational Execution: Oversee daily title operations, ensuring the team seamlessly executes our established, high-performing workflows and state DMV regulations.
-
Open-Minded Problem Solving: Maintain an open mind to operational adjustments, identifying gaps where team performance drops and implementing strategic coaching or minor tweaks to get metrics back on track.
-
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between the Title department and Sales, Remarketing, Insurance, Customer Service, and other operations teams. You will facilitate smooth process handoffs, resolve complex cross-functional bottlenecks, and ensure overall alignment across the business.
Key Requirements:
-
5+ years of hands-on vehicle title experience is strictly required. You must thoroughly understand DMV workflows, title transfers, and registration processes.
-
Proven experience managing teams (10+ employees preferred) with a heavy focus on developing and enforcing daily production metrics.
-
You know how to motivate a team to hit numbers without sacrificing morale. You are skilled at identifying underperformance and coaching employees up to standard.
-
While our current processes work great, you possess an open mind and are always looking for ways to optimize team output and adapt to changing volumes.
-
Strong experience creating and analyzing Salesforce reports, alongside advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (specifically Google Sheets for data tracking).
-
Ability to work out of our Boston office 5 days a week (this is a fully in-office role).
A Vibrant Office Culture & Perks
-
Complimentary Lunches: Forget meal prepping! Enjoy delicious, catered lunches on us every Tuesday and Thursday.
-
Sweet Happy Hours: Take a well-deserved break with the team at our fun happy hours, featuring sweet treats, great conversations, and a fantastic opportunity to unwind and connect.
-
Smarter Commuting (TMA Benefit): Save money on your daily trek. We offer TMA benefits, allowing you to allocate pre-tax dollars toward your travel and transit expenses to make your commute to the city a breeze.
