Role Summary
Role: Vehicle Engineering Technician
Location: Fremont, CA.
Summary
Pebble is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to support R&D operations in the Bay Area. This role is integral to supporting R&D operations, test fleet, diagnostics, and troubleshooting supporting engineering objectives. This role requires flexibility, ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on difficult challenges, has a team approach to maximizing uptime, and can manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Support R&D operations, ensuring optimal performance and uptime of the test fleet.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to support engineering objectives.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams, providing valuable insights.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasionally travel to support test and marketing operations.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA or equivalent trade school.
- 5+ years in the automotive industry.
- 5+ years experience in electric vehicle service.
- 5+ years experience in R&D technical operations.
- Highly skilled in electronics and experienced with a wide range of vehicles and systems.
- Can-do spirit and get-it-done attitude.
