The Value Stream Supervisor is responsible for executing the production plan with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and productivity. This role ensures that daily operations within the assigned value stream run smoothly and that team members are supported and aligned with operational goals.

This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Oversee and organize the daily workflow and the daily operations of direct reports in the production area for the assigned value stream and shift.

• Responsible for oversight of direct reports including hiring, training, personal development, performance management, career discussions and discipline.

• Ensure customer orders are processed safely, correctly and on time and efficiently.

• Collaborate with Value Stream Leader in interpreting QC results and follow up when failures warrant further investigation.

• Assist in making sure all work instructions pertaining to processes and safety guidelines are being followed and comply with rules and guidance applicable to your value stream, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in a science related field or equivalent by relevant experience.

• Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.

• Knowledge in manufacturing practices and application of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving

• Leadership and team management experience

• Coaching teams in lean methodologies and continuous improvement

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team player
