Job Description:

  • Conducts comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, patient histories, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.

  • Initiates orders for medications, laboratory studies, diagnostic testing, and treatments within scope of practice and organizational policy.

  • Identifies alterations in patient health status and implements appropriate nursing and medical interventions.

  • Diagnoses and manages acute and chronic health conditions across organ systems.

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care, considering age‑specific needs.

  • Provides patient and family education, counseling, and support regarding treatment plans and health management.

  • Coordinates patient care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow, including appropriate utilization of resources and discharge planning.

  • Participates in interdisciplinary rounds, case conferences, and care planning activities.

  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, procedures, and care plans in accordance with policy.

  • Responds to urgent or emergent patient needs and participates in on‑call responsibilities as scheduled.

  • Participates in quality improvement activities, including data collection, outcome analysis, and process evaluation.

  • Incorporates evidence‑based practice to enhance clinical outcomes and support program development.

  • Engages in professional development activities and represents the organization in appropriate community or educational events.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Abilities in the use of specialized equipment used in respective area of practice [Required]
