Job role : Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure with best practices in mind.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible for maintaining resources/codes/changes.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment cycles.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate application deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with strong knowledge of CI/CD and automations.
• Expertise in Ansible configuration management.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps(must have)).
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, KMS, VPC, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Ability to write and debug scripts (Bash, Python, Groovy or similar).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands on experience on Azure DevOps, CI/CD management, Role definitions is mandatory.
• Hands on experience on K8s and docker is a must.
• Containerizing & Clustering: Compose, Docker, Dockerfiles, ECS, Helm, Kubernetes, Nginx, HAProxy.
• Experience with Open-Source Database such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL.
• Hands on experience on caching data bases like Redis, Hazelcast.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
