Key Responsibilities:

 

• Design custom typefaces for various projects, from logos and branding to web and print media.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and brand identity.
• Create typefaces that are functional, versatile, and aligned with the visual language of the brand.
• Develop detailed character sets, including both regular and alternative forms, to ensure consistency across various media.
• Optimize fonts for different platforms, ensuring scalability and legibility in digital and print formats.
• Stay updated with the latest typography trends, tools, and technology to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current design and typographic trends and apply them to your work.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

• Proven experience as a typeface designer, graphic designer, or a related field with a strong portfolio showcasing custom typography work.
• Deep knowledge of typography principles, font creation, and type anatomy.
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Glyphs, FontLab, and other font creation tools.
• Ability to create clear, legible, and aesthetically balanced typefaces across multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of design principles and how typography interacts with visual elements.
• Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and passion for design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
