  What You Will Do  

• Architect, design and build scalable systems that will have a direct impact on

customer acquisition, experience, conversion and retention

• Develop close relationships with Product and tech team in China and Korea
• Establish and execute short and long-term architectural roadmaps for the

business

• Drive continuous improvement to the efficiency and flexibility of the platform

and services while keeping high bar for customer trust, performance and

availability

  

Basic Qualifications  

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent fields
• 10+ years of industry experience of increasing responsibility leading a group

of engineers, 6+ years of experience in software development in large

distributed systems, web services and Java capability

• Experience in designing and implementing high-concurrency, high-availability,

and high-scalability systems;

• Familiar with distributed system architecture, microservice architecture and

design, and message queue, cache, database etc core backend knowledge

• Growth mindset, company-wide perspective. Focus on business problem

solving, and data-driven

• Strong competency in delivering results in an environment of rapidly changing

requirements with appropriate trade-offs

• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and dive deep
• Experience working closely with global distributed teams
