Tutor - Digital Tools for Fashion Design (Temporary) / Dubai

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative industry professional with advanced digital design skills who is passionate about education and committed to equipping the next generation of fashion designers with the digital competencies required by the contemporary fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical classes in Digital Tools for Fashion Design.

• Teach industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite, with a primary focus on Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

• Guide students in creating professional portfolios, lookbooks, technical presentations, visual communication materials, and graphic design projects.

• Support students in developing high-quality digital layouts, branding, typography, image editing, and visual storytelling.

• Introduce students to contemporary digital workflows relevant to fashion design and creative industries.

• Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and assessment in line with programme learning outcomes.

• Collaborate with the Fashion Design Department Programme Leader to maintain high academic standards and deliver an exceptional student learning experience.

Essential Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fashion Design, Digital Design, Multimedia Design, or a closely related discipline.

• Professional industry experience in graphic design, digital design, fashion communication, or creative visual development.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

• Strong understanding of portfolio design, editorial layouts, typography, branding, digital image manipulation, and visual communication.

• Previous teaching or mentoring experience in higher education is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• A professional portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital and graphic design.

• UAE Residency visa required

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, or other relevant creative software.

• Experience with software such as CLO3D, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3D design, digital fashion, motion graphics, animation, simulation, or immersive technologies would be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of AI-powered creative tools and emerging digital technologies within the fashion industry.

• Experience working with international fashion, luxury, or creative brands.
