About the Job

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. As a Trust and Safety Analyst focused on developer experience programs and ecosystem success, you will play a pivotal role in enabling developers to build, publish, and scale safe applications across the broader ecosystem. Advocating an AI-first mindset, you will design innovative workflows and robust protections that help developers thrive across distribution channels. You will also be at the forefront of driving critical ecosystem programs such as developer verification and standards for registered app stores ensuring a secure, trustworthy, and thriving environment for developers wherever they choose to publish.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize programs that empower developers to successfully publish safe applications and thrive across the broader app ecosystem.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, and policy to drive alignment and successfully launch ecosystem programs.
  • Design and implement scalable, AI-driven workflows and automated tooling to elevate safety protections while maintaining a streamlined experience for developers.
  • Develop processes to support developers in meeting Android developer verification requirements and seamless onboarding into ecosystem programs.
  • Analyze program performance and trends to continuously improve developer experience and ecosystem trust.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving projects with multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions and teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis to drive insights and recommendations.
  • Comfort and proficiency working in a highly cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to see the larger picture and connect dots across teams, insights, and initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
