Mercer Indonesia is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Jakarta office :

Treaty Technician (Claim)

We will count on you to:

• Entry claim process from email according to type of claim process; Monitoring timeframe and response from/to the clients & reinsurers

• Review claims advices from clients; billings according to departmental procedures.

• Attend to queries from clients, reinsurers, and related parties.

• Assist in the resolution of claims issues.

• Processing Reinsurance Claims includes, verifying claim documentation, evaluating claim eligibility, determining coverage parameters, and calculating appropriate claim settlements.

• Ensure procedures and documentation are in compliance with Guy Carpenter Professional Standards

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What you need to have :

• University Degree or equivalent experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in processing claims in a reinsurance environment.

• Prior experience in the Reinsurance industry, with specific experience of Treaty Reinsurance highly desirable

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent Microsoft suite skills

• Fluent in English

• Holds AAAIK or CIIB certification
