At Cuscal, our Commercial and Business teams are the backbone of our organisation. From supporting clients and driving growth to ensuring compliance, managing finances and fostering a positive workplace culture, our people play a vital role in achieving our commercial objectives while staying true to our values.

If you’re looking for a role where your skills and ideas make a real impact, join us to help shape the future of payments in Australia.

Your Opportunity

As our Treasury Officer, you’ll support the management of Cuscal’s financial assets, liquidity and treasury operations through accurate and timely payment processing, investment processing, reporting, settlement activities, forecasting and stakeholder support across multiple banking environments.

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Processing daily EFT and RTGS payments for internal requirements and client requests while maintaining accuracy, approvals and separation of duties.
  • Supporting daily investment activity, including term deposit and investment listings, confirmations, transaction matching and settlement records.
  • Preparing reporting, dashboards and settlement updates to support management review, financial decisions and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintaining treasury forecasts using real-time and historical data to estimate inflows and outflows from bank accounts.
  • Reviewing and settling daily transactional product exposures with relevant banks and settlement counterparties, including WBC, ANZ and the RBA where applicable.
  • Managing internal and external queries relating to statements, accounts, transfers, investments, settlement processes and transactional details.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in banking or financial services, ideally in a similar Treasury role.
  • Sound knowledge of settlement processes, particularly for transactional products.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under time and volume pressure.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service capability when supporting internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to investigate anomalies, resolve low to moderately complex queries and escalate appropriately.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:

  • Previous experience with accounting and general ledger software.
  • A diploma or tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry qualifications or ongoing professional development.

Why Cuscal?

At Cuscal, you’ll find a strong, successful company that’s reimagining the future. And our team is right there at the heart of it all.

Here, you’ll deliver or support interesting, ground-breaking work that has real impact on Australia’s financial services sector and the millions of customers it serves. You’ll innovate alongside skilled, smart, connected teams. And you’ll build an impressive, fulfilling career that continues to grow.

You’ll also enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Work in a hybrid model that supports your lifestyle and goals.
  • We celebrate success: Our IGNITE program recognises individual and team achievements.
  • Wellbeing focus: We support your physical, mental and financial health with holistic initiatives and access to discounts via Cuscal Advantage.
