Job description

Pavilion Entertainment a new media company incorporated in Trinidad and Tobago. It is dedicated to the original production of media projects and the regional distribution of both original and franchise programming.

The Travel Coordinator will book and track travel (flight, hotel, and ground transportation) for crew members while maintaining a strict budget and acting as point of contact for all airline bookings. The Travel Coordinator will also ensure that the production travel policy is adhered to, and monitor and review the process regularly. Primary job duties and responsibilities will be to:

• Coordinate, supervise and implement every aspect of travel arrangement

• Confirm reservations and distribute tickets

• Research optimal travel alternatives

• Resolve travel related conflict across organisation

• Liaise effectively with travel agencies and all travel/accommodation suppliers

• Keep up to date knowledge of international travel regulations and requirements

• Work with the Office Manager to coordinate hotel accommodations, adhere to hotel attrition, budgets, etc.

• Adhere to a strict, pre-determined budget, and communicate status of budget throughout the production to the Line Producer 

• Liaise with external travel providers to negotiate and propose improvements in the process

Qualifications and competencies include:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field or at least 4 years’ experience in general office management

• Excellent standard of customer service and communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and delegate in high stress situations

• Ability to handle complex itineraries and coordinate activities

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Some understanding of Visa regulations
