Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing the daily operations for inpatient transportation with in the hospital and administrative functions to assure accuracy and patient flow in accordance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Assigns and completes follow-up with patient logistics messengers
• Trains new staff on transport procedures
• Monitors workflow to maintain standards of transport through out the hospital facility
• Reviews, assists and addresses customer service complaints
• Prepares and updates policies and procedures
• Prepares Transport EPIC reports

Required Background:

• High School Diploma required. College degree preferred
• Strong customer service and problem escalation/resolution in a similar environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior supervisory experience
• Good computer skills
