Job Description:
- Receiving communications from company dispatcher.
- Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
- Interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem
- Performing roadside vehicle diagnostics
- Performing minor repairs
- Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires and reconnecting vehicle parts.
- Suggesting a course of action
- Connecting the damaged vehicle to the truck with a chain, wench, or steering block
- Towing the vehicle to an authorized station or to the yard.
- Reporting to base and completing paperwork.
Job Qualifications:
- Over 21 years of age
- Possess a valid CA license
- Must have clean driving record
- EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Must live in Dixon area
- Must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends with flexibility for varying shifts
- Possess basic mechanical aptitude
- Successful drug test and clean DMV record
- Superior customer service as drivers work in the field directly with the general public
- Positive attitude
- Physical activity required such as standing, sitting, stooping, bending and lifting.
- Great communication skills
- Must be punctual and well-groomed
- Will negotiate pay with experience.
